It all started with Jimmy (better known as Jim Stroh, our President). At the ripe old age of 16, he was offered his first roofing job for a local contractor where he rapidly advanced within the company to become the Crew Foreman at the age of 17. He graduated from East Valley High School in Spokane, WA as class president and as an Eagle 
Scout (the highest rank in Scouting). Jim continued his roofing position until he moved to Australia at 19 to serve a two-year mission for his church. While away, he made the decision to build his own company upon returning home.
After his return, he opened Jimmy's Roofing in the summer of 2001. Committed to education, he continued to put himself through college and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelors Degree in Business, all the while guiding his company through the complex local roofing industry into a highly respected business.
Surpassing the year prior, Jimmy's Roofing installed 218 new roofs in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene market in 2006, which averaged over one new roof every working day. That is a far cry from the days when Jim was working alone on the roof. Today Jimmy's Roofing has multiple full-time employees working year round. In addition, he has several seasonal employees, all of whom have tested drug free. To further their quest to obtain the highest quality personnel, Jimmy's Roofing began providing health care benefits to their employees in 2005 followed by a contributing retirement plan in 2006. "By raising the bar and instituting higher standards, we have found the best people of the industry knocking on our door" said Jim Stroh.
